Pastors Doug & Jeri Bankson
Pastor Doug Bankson was originally from Altadena, California. Growing up, Pastor Doug travelled and sang across country with his father and brothers. When Pastor Doug was 19 years old he accepted a position as the youth pastor for Cornerstone World Outreach located in Sioux City, IA. It is there where he met the love of his life, Jeri Pedersen, and in 1987 they were married.

After several years of serving at Cornerstone, Pastors Doug & Jeri felt a strong pull from God to begin a church in Florida. Earlier in his life, Pastor Doug’s family had lived in Apopka, FL, a friendly little town located in the northern suburbs of Orlando. Now years later, they felt the Lord was leading them back to Apopka. So after much prayer and with blessings from Pastors Larry & Eileen Gordon of Cornerstone, Pastor Doug & Jeri, and their 3 boys (Ben, Joe, & Mike) and a daughter on the way (Victoria) moved down to Florida to obey God and plant a church. Thus in the spring of 1995, Victory Church was born, with a heart to reach the city of Apopka, and the nations abroad!

PASTOR DOUG
Along with his pastoral ministry, Pastor Doug is a pilot, certified scuba diver, author of the book “Love Your Woman,” and an accomplished songwriter having received an Addy Award for singing on the radio. Pastor Doug has also been heavily involved in his local community, having served as the President of the Apopka Ministerial Alliance, the Chairman of the Apopka Chamber of Commerce as well as multiple boards and planning committees. Pastor Doug currently serves as city councilman for the City of Apopka, seat 3.

PASTOR JERI
Pastor Jeri graduated from Rhema Bible Training Center in 1987.
Pastor Jeri also holds a Theological Degree from PeaceMakers School of Theology.
She is a gifted speaker with a passion for seeing marriages restored, and is the author of the wildly popular book “Love Your Man” which was the beginning of the Love Your Mate series. Her and Pastor Doug have spoken at numerous marriage conferences and seminars.
